PDair Leather Case for HTC Titan X310e - Flip Top Type (Black)

I recently purchased this item believing it would be the perfect solution for protecting my phone. I do believe its a good product, crafted well; however it isn't a complete protection solution.

I had the misfortune of having my phone (inside this case) fall about three feet. With the case closed, the top left corner of my phone was deeply scratched on concrete, even though the case remained closed. I suppose that, although the case is well crafted, perhaps it's design is flawed since so much of the top edges and corners of the phone are vulnerable.
