I bought one of these so i could listen to music on my nokia e71x without bothering everyone. They should probably specify that you can't use just any headphones with this adapter. When I use mine, I have to sort of keep in a little unplugged, and have to leave the wire in a certain spot to hear the music on both sides. I've tried different pairs, but with the same results. I was really disappointed. I'm not even sure what kind of headphones to buy in order for this to work properly.

Bought two of these, one for the car, one for my nice headphones. Both work great. This was really useful to play my Nokia E71 through my car's 3.5mm stereo input cable. This adapter is also sturdier than others made with flimsy wire.
