Acase Capacitive Stylus Pen Combo (Twist Style) for Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy, Blackberry Playbook

Acase Capacitive Stylus Pen Combo for Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy, Blackberry PlaybookPros/Features:

All metal with chrome accents and a nice glossy enamel finish. Very nice looking for the type of device and price point.

End to end it's just a touch of 5 inches

Takes standard refills, like Cross or similar

Twist pen, so no cap to fuss with

Rubber stylus tip is good quality and works famously on phone or tablet. As good or better than any on the market by Kensington, Boxwave, and similar (all tested)

10 dollar price point with free shipping is worth every penny

Shipped on time as promised in a nice presentable paper box.

Use:

Used on Galaxy Nexus 4.65 screen and iPad2 with NO issues, at various writing angles. It takes hardly any pressure to use and glides smoothly.

Pen portion is high quality, not the normal afterthought of ink they usually put in dual purpose items such as this. The ink flows immediately and smoothly on the paper.

Feels good in the hand and does not look or feel cheap.

Length and width is as pleasant as a normal pen and it's just long enough to feel like you're using a pen instead of half a pen like some others.

Cons:

At this time none. Need to use for a few months to see if the rubber tip wears or stands up to daily use.

I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

I purchased this thinking that I would get an ultra thin stylus for my I-Pad when I realized I was looking at the wrong end! I tried to cancel the order but wasn't able to and was planning on returning it. When it arrived I figured I may as well try it and was surprised when it worked very well! The tip of the stylus isn't very small but because it works so well I found that if I didn't apply too much pressure I can get a reasonably fine line. As a published illustrator I have had a HORRID time with many of the other stylus's, and while this one is far from perfect It's quite a bit better than the rest. If anyone knows where I can find an ultra fine tiny tipped stylus I would love to know. Why stylus manufacturers don't make an ultra thin one is beyond me!

I purchased this stylus to use with my HTC Vivid Smartphone and it works perfectly! I wanted a stylus/ink pen combo so that it wouldn't take up much room in my purse. I must say that I absolutely LOVE this stylus! I use it with both my phone and Kindle Fire. The color is nice (Glossy white with chrome accents) so it matches my phone perfectly. It's sleek, which is good, because it doesn't take up much space in my purse. Now, you have to twist it to get the pen to come out, which means you don't have to worry about losing the cap. The pen is ready to use immediately and writes very well. When writing, it glides so smoothly across the page that several people have tried to steal it. LOL The main selling point for me was that it takes standard refills, so I'll have it for awhile. I recommend this stylus to anyone who is looking for a nice looking, quality pen/stylus combo at a reasonable price. This stylus is the perfect gift for someone who uses a Smartphone and can't seem to get their fingers used to the touch screen.

This capacitive stylus pen does the job but not very well, in my opinion. The rubber tip is flimsy and awkward, and it's so huge and thick that you can't do any real writing with it; you can write yourself a 3 or 4 word note, and that's about it. I think the concept is great but this device hasn't quite perfected it. I would not recommend it.

This is now my 5th stylus and I absolutely love it. I use my iPad for work and needed a stylus that could also function as a pen. I like the twist to open feature. No worrying about losing the pen cap. Both the pen and the stylus write perfectly.
