in searching for an ideal ipad case, my first criteria was for it to look like a book cover; simple with no frills. next criteria and just as important was the price ($20 or less). this cover fulfills both requirements. it LOOKS like a book cover and relatively inexpensive. even the shade of pink wasn't too garish. the quality of the materials isn't the best, but its pretty good enough for my purposes. i'm very careful with my stuff so i don't mind that it doesn't protect the whole ipad. i kinda like seeing as much of the ipad as i can. other book style cases cover up much of the bezel. the elastic restraints are surprisingly snug and stable. yes, the straps cover the screen lock, part of the volume rocker and part of the speakers, but its not a big deal for me. the buttons are still reachable and the strap does not interfere with the sound.

i wouldn't get this if you lead an active lifestyle or are rough with your gadgets. i only wish i sprung for the extra cash and bought the all black cover instead. if i was in the market for another inexpensive case, i'd probably buy one of these again.
