I just purchased this item, and I am very happy with it. Easy for house use, easy for on the job, very good quality. I recommend this product to anyone who has an ipad.
I had to throw this away because of how flimsy this was. I took a chance because of the mixed reviews and was extremely disappointed.

This stand is sort of a cheaper rolled and formed and fairly rough metal, as opposed to the polished aluminum one might expect. It functions fine though. It is yet another iAccessory that does not have any tolerance for any sort of case added to the dimensions of the iPad. I have a simple snap-in case for my iPad, but I had to remove it on order to use this stand. The tilt on the stand is controlled by a small knob in the back with two rubber washers. If I keep the magnetic screen protector on, folded over to one side, it will slowly tilt the tablet over unless the knob is cranked down hard, and tightened regularly.
