The rooCASE Multi-Angle case for the ACER A100 tab is, to my taste, as nearly perfect as it could be: the construction is elegant, sturdy, and completely functional. And most important, the design of the stand-mechanism is easy to use and leaves the machine in a solid stand-up position. rooCASE uses a velcro lock for the stand, while other companies use an accordion pleat/fold design. Although the pleat/fold designs sometimes have more flexibility in choice of angles, I have found them to be unstable in use. The velcro lock, on the other hand, holds firmly even when the face of the tablet is touched firmly. Other reviewers have mentioned that the cover-magnet is weak. To my mind, the strength is perfect for the need. I carry the unit in hand, not in another case. The cover stays in place, even when I move the closed case from table to table, and when I open the cover, I don't have to pry it loose. Dollar-for-dollar, the rooCASE is one of the best-valued purchases that I have made in cases.

This is a wonderful leather (or faux leather I think) case for the Acer Iconia Tab A100. It is sleek and well made. It is nice that it can do landscape and portrait stand. The way it works is the tablet goes in a case with a Velcro back and then there is a book like panel with ridges with Velcro also that you attach to it. My only major complaint about this case is that the opening for the display makes it hard to touch the edges which sucks when hitting back or home. Also it does add a lot to the size of your tablet, so if you are concerned about size, it might be an issue.

Since I use the tablet in the vertical position for reading, this looked like the case I wanted the ability to lean the tablet on the case in either landscape or portrait position. However, that's not what I received. The case I received did not have a separate sleeve like is shown in the first and last photos on the site and the tablet could only be used in the landscape position. I emailed the seller and he quickly apologized and immediately sent out the correct case.

The Dual-view case is as described ability to separate the sleeve and use the tablet in either position. The cover closes nicely and magnets hold it in place. The handle does not come with this case it's on the other case I returned and is shown in the other photos but I'm glad it didn't because it didn't serve much purpose. The case I returned also didn't close all the way. Cutouts for speakers, cameras, sensors, etc. were all in the right place on the dual-view case. But one thing I discovered while using the compass on the Acer: the heading was way off. Then I realized the magnets in the case were throwing it off. I removed the tablet from the case and that restored the compass readings. DON'T depend on the compass while it's in the case. Other than that, it's great.

For those commenters complaining about the closure it needs to be worn in a bit it's real leather so starts a bit stiff. Helps to close it and lay it on the front side for a while.

I have had this case for about a week now and I love it, it fits the tablet perfectly. I cant beleive there are any complaints. I like how the case also acts as a stand, it's great when your watching a movie. If you buy this case, you will not be sorry, it is well made, doesnt smell funny and is versatile. It would be cool though, if they could add some type of pocket and a place to put a stylus. Then this truly would be the perfect case.
