The only thing that could make my Zoom Q3HD video recorder more useful would be an external battery pack, so I purchased one only to discover that I could not find the appropriate cable to connect the battery pack to the recorder. When I contacted Zoom, their only comment was that they did not support the use of an external battery pack. I did a quick search on Amazon and found that Gomadic could provide the power cable that I needed. The original package came with the incorrect tip, but the customer service folks at Gomadic responded quickly with the correct tip and I could not be more pleased with the outcome.
