The cord doesn't always want to retract and sometimes it doesn't retract all the way on both ends. I wish there was a way to keep the cord from pulling out when I'm not trying to pull it out. I think it's probably worth the money to get the slightly more expensive versions that are out there.

Advertised that this cable will sync and charge, may be the case with some PALM's, but not my E2. This is the 5th cable I have gotten that is NOT the cable pictured. You get what you pay for!

Smallest Bluetooth 2.0 Adapter Dongle (Vista/Windows XP Compatible)

I bought 2 of these looking at the price being so good but shipping costs brought 2 of these up to over 10$ but i bought them anyways after seeing peoples sucsess storys. Bad choice. This bluetooth adapter would work great if it wasnt tied to Bluesiols Drivers. You can get this dongle to work for standard bluetooth devices like file transfers without installing the software but anything involving sound coming out through the bluetooth adapter into your bluetooth headset forget it. This device manufacture using bluesiol was a big mistake. I tried installing the bluesiol software on the disc on my brand spanking new 1500$ computer with windows 7 and it crashed my computer with the blue screen of death! You can imagine my anger after having this happen. I uninstalled the bluesiol software and did a system restore to fix the blue screen problem. then i went to bluesiols website and tried to install the newest software, With support for windows 7. It recognized the dongle after a restart and i was finally able to use my bluetooth headset after 4 hours of troubleshooting!(Or so i thought,) I started talking to my friends on skype and 2 minutes later the headset disconnected from the dongle. Going into bluesiol and telling it to reconnect gave me various messages, like there is no bluetooth dongle installed, and the bluetooth service isnt running, and the headset isnt responding. My headset is fine as it connects to my Macbook. So it is the hardware and software, after more troubleshooting(1 hour later) I was able to connect again and hear and speak to my friends. YAY!(or so i thought) Once again 2 minutes later the dongle just wasnt installed or recognized. figures. I have yet to try this on linux, or on my imac that doesnt have bluetooth. I will edit this review once ive tested it.(EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT THE DONGLE TO USE ON WINDOWS TO PLAY GAMES AND TALK TO FRIENDS!) Well if i could of there would probably be a lot of profanity in this review to the seller and the manufacture. Just to let them know that. Bottom Line: If your using it for data transfer and thats it dont install the software and wala it works. If you are using it for connecting a bluetooth headset steer away from this device. It doesnt even serve as a good paperweight. It cannot do anything right.

I've had this for some time now, and had no trouble at all using it to connect to a GPS receiver and my mouse completely plug-and-play. However, the device does not seem to support A2DP, which means that while my stereo headset connects without a problem, I'm not able to pass audio to it. I'm planning on purchasing a slightly more expensive Broadcom-based model that fits about the same form factor (and expressly indicates that it supports A2DP).

Note that it's also possible that the issue I'm experiencing is a software rather than a hardware issue, but given that I'm unable to install the necessary drivers for support of my device, I assume it's a hardware incompatibility.

Edit 12/29/09: I received my new adapter and confirmed that the problems I was experiencing were hardware related this device either does not support A2DP, or simply doesn't support audio devices at all. Audio devices you pair with your computer will appear as installed devices, but will not be available to Windows as playback devices, so you won't get any sound from them.

The hardware is cheap feeling.

However the REAL con is the SOFTWARE. No driver support outside of bluesoleil. Ever heard of it? I hope not because god its a headache. Not only is it NOT FREE (yeah seriously, essentially a TRIAL edition driver...) but it's awful clunky and doesn't let you fully utilize your device. So in the end, you'll end up paying more for the crappy software, crappy support, and weak hardware.

Save your money and buy a linksys etc. Not to mention this device's bluetooth class is the short choppy range type. You could step up a class in the 20 dollar range and have something that has 3-5 times the range.

DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PIECE OF ... HARDWARE.

I hope Bluesoleil honestly goes out of business for the gimmick scam. It's disenfranchising the wonderful thing bluetooth could be. I'll be doing my best to get a return. Wish me luck.

No drivers with mine supposed to use the generic drivers according to the sales folks and they know nothing beyond plug and play... here is how to make it work on XP SP3 and Microsoft BT mouse.

Uninstall any other bluetooth drivers and installations if you have had any other devices installed. Then plug this little flea in and once it says it is up and running you have to then change some service settings. FUN!!!!

press WIN+R type "services.msc

scroll to "Bluetooth Support Service" and double click

Make sure it is set to Automatic on the first tab then click on the "Log On" tab.

Select "Local System account" and also the check box below that (Allow service....)

Restart the service by going back to the first tab and clicking stop, then start.

Remove and reinsert the dongle (in a different port will sometimes help) then try to pair again using 0000 as the vendor provided pass code (if you are using a microsoft BT mouse or something similar)

I use Linux as my primary operating system (Fedora 14) and after plugging in the Bluetooth Adapter to an available USB port, the device worked great. I was able to transfer files from my phone to my computer and vice-versa; the drivers must have been included with the operating system. As far as Bluetooth headsets/speakers, I really don't know. Overall this is great for Linux, I'm sure Ubuntu supports it as well.

This case was given along with a Nook Color as a gift, and the recipient loves the case. The pattern is great for someone who loves flowers or a pop of color. It is made of a canvas like material which is different from your average case, but looks very nice.

It fits the Nook Color perfectly and has a magnetic closure that keeps the top closed. The inside is lightly padded so it will help protect the Nook, and all the appropriate openings are on the case for the charger port and power and volume buttons. I was very excited to get this. I loved the pattern and I really wanted a book style. Unfortunately when I received it it was completely different. I flipped open at the top and it was a totally different pattern and color. Thinking that it was just an error on the part of the person who pulled the item I checked the label on the bag. According to the label I received exactly what I ordered. The item I received must have been labelled incorrectly at some point in the process so I got the wrong thing. I called Amazon and explained and they were happy to give me a return label for it but I would have liked to have been offered the correct item. I probably would have received the same thing anyway. When I first got my Kindle Fire, I purchased a Deft Dante rotating stand case so that I could prop it up either horizontally or vertically. However, I returned that immediately since I did not enjoy the flimsy feel of it, nor how the rotating clip made it look like a tiny leather purse. I got this cover because I had the same cover for my B&N Nook ereader, and I love how it feels and looks.

PROS:

When I received this cover, I was not disappointed, the case fits very snugly, with all the proper access holes, and the horizontal stand works very well. The tweed cover makes it look like a small calendar or contact book, and the inside is nice leather(fake or real I don't know, but it feels nice and seems quite durable). It is easy to fold the front cover 180 degrees around for if you want to hold it like a book, and is more comfortable to me than holding the KF without a case. Another nice thing is that it closes magnetically, strong enough that I never accidentally open it when I don't want to.

CONS:

The only thing, which isn't even an issue for me but could be for others, is that, since this is a slide-in case rather than a clip-on, it is sometimes a little bit more difficult to press the very edges of the screen, since the case pretty much goes right up to the edge of the screen. This honestly doesn't bother me at all though.

Acer Aspire One AO722-418 fits nicely in this case. Case is a little larger than the netbook, but seems to hold it securely. You could add an additional foam strip to make it even more secure but probably not necessary. Seems well padded but have not thrown it on the floor to test it. Outside pocket holds recharging cable, small mouse, and dvd player/burner. A nice case.

The order came in promptly. This is a quality case. It will accommodate my Acer 11.6 inch laptop comfortably with extra room, just as advertised. You can put the charger and mouse in there. It also secures the computer in the case very well. You could also fit a tablet/iPad in the outside pocket. Mine happens to be a Samsung Galaxy 10.1. Price is acceptable. I recommend it.

I hate almost all stylus's (styli?) I have ever used. They are always too short, to fat, or just dont work. I bought the boxwave slimline last year and it was almost perfect. It was slim like a pen, and longer than most Ive seen. The only issue I had with it was the rubber end was too soft and it dragged on the screen.

This new stylus solves that and I feel it is perfect.It sits in your hand just like a pen. The felt tip glides on the screen even better than your finger does, best yet NO pressure is needed at all. It just works.

They may be on the high side of the price range but if you use a styus a lot you will know its worth it.

Don't be fooled by the "Mac" and "Pod" in the name, nor the iPod white case, and iPod-like wheel. This is a product made by a distributor of Apple computers and not Apple themselves. Had Apple made it, it would undoubtedly have been a much more pollished product, and a lot less fragile in it's interface.

As it is the HomePod is a workmanlike gadget for reading your MP3s across a network and playing them remotely. Setup is easy-ish. With only a single previous experience of setting up a wireless computer, the wireless setup on the HomePod took half an hour or so and a careful reading of the instructions. Server software is required on the PC (or an Apple), and this could be better explained. For instance loading an iTunes library file and the MyMusic folder from the PC, causes the HomePod's library listing to become a little garbled, and the HomePod to crash sporadically. This could definitely be handled better. There are also Linux servers available for the HomePod available on the internet.

The HomePod itself comes with an old version of the firmware and software, and upgrading the software is well worth the effort, for those with some technical savy.

Using the HomePod is easy and satisfying: the music files are listed by artist, author, trackname, genre and playlist, and the software interfaces well with iTunes. Reportedly it also works with Real Player and the MS Media Player, although I've never tried these.

There is also an FM radio tuner built in but the reception is so bad that this is completely worthless. There is also an internet radio facility which appears pretty neat, but I have used it only briefly.

The homepod includes its own very low quality speakers but also has 3.5mm ear plug, and phono plugs to attach external speakers.

The software does have numerous areas where it falls short of reasonable expectations, for instance the wheel scrolls either very slowly, or too fast, with no happy medium; the music cannot be played while the menus are being navigated; many of the HomePod settings can only be changed from the PC; and the software does crash occassionally. However, the software is open source, and can be downloaded from gloolabs.com for free, and those with some technical experise can customize to their hearts content.

Bottom line is the HomePod finally lets me play my mp3s from my PC harddisk anywhere around the house, something I've wanted to do for some time. It is not perfect, but it is a relatively cheap solution and after working through the kinks does a fine job.

I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Macsense Homepod. At this price I wasn't expecting much but I was wrong.

I have a wireless lan in my home, and was attracted to the Homepod for the following reasons

1) I was looking for something could easily and occasionally switch between Kitchen and Living room. I didn't need to bring it skiing!

2) I listen to radio quite a bit, and the FM tuner was a definite plus

3) I liked the idea of an open platform with an active developer community finding ways to improve the product.

Here's whats good about it

1) It works beautifully and simply once it's set up

2) It is a solid, well thought out design.

3) I love being able to browse & shuffle-play my music in the kitchen

4) The product is being improved all the time via firmware updates

5) It's very compatible

6) The Internet Radio feature is a lot of fun, and works without a "server" PC.

Here's what's weak

1) Wireless setup was quite easy, but I did have some trouble getting the supplied server software working (I eventually downloaded MusicMatch). My problems were probably down to the fact that I'm still using Windows 98

2) The FM Tuner isn't great OK for strong signals only

3) The built-in speakers are on a par with typical laptop speakers i.e. useless for all but emergencies. You won't understand the quality of this equipment without connecting decent speakers (mine are modest Altec Lansing 2.1).

Summary I love it, and I'm looking forward to more (free) enhancements in the future. It gave me a low cost entry into the world of MP3/Digital media using my existing PC, WLAN, speakers etc.

I've owned the Homepod for over 1 year now. To get the features I wanted I needed the Release 2 Beta firmware. This has been Beta for 2 years now! (written 4/2005) The system will hang after it's been on for several hours if you do anything besides just let it play. I find this particularly true if a shuffle operation is attempted. The system has to be power cycled. That wouldn't be a really big deal if it weren't for the 37 second startup time! I've found the overall experience to be a bit frustrating.

I get horrible FM signal at my home and dont have a 50 gazillion mp3 collection so my primary plans were for the online streaming. It works with Live 365 flawlessly once I added the beta firmware. It looks like the people behind the "GLOO" software are MIA so I dont expect any more software updates or support for that matter. It does lock up pretty hard when trying to stream Shoutcast though but for 20.00 what can you expect?

Its a great concept and I had big expectations but to no avail. the Homepod server.exe will not work with Windows 7 x64. i tried to update the firmware but the version is back from 2004.

I have decided to return the product and my recommendation is not to buy it unless you want to try is out with Windows XP.

The skin is greateasy to apply and vivid colors. My only complaint is that the wallpaper is not formatted for the Ally. The Ally has "landscape" sized wallpaper since it moves with the screens, left to right. The provided wallpaper is "portrait" and the Ally crops it and enlarges it, so it doesn't look as nice as in the pictures.

If you don't care about the wallpaper, the skin is great. :)

This one comes with the older bulkier micro USB connection, which is only useful for a data connection to the mid-7022

Sure there are no defects but this is not what I was expecting, nor what I wanted to purchase. I have since found the correct cable on Ebay.

This stylus isn't the worst i've used, its the second worst. However, it all comes down to your intended use for the product. I bought this item to use on my iPad for sketching/note taking, not poking at the screen keyboard or links on webpages. While the rubber is the right material, the shape of the tip of the stylus forces you to touch at a precise angle in order to get the thing to work. I was initially attracted to this b/c of the shape, its not a half bubble, its flat with a pointed edge which I mistakenly assumed would allow me to be more precise when writing. However, this doesn't work at all. The tip must contact the screen keeping the flat part completely on the screen (can't be rolled to one side or the other, completely flat). this is a very unnatural thing, especially when first starting to write I almost always have to stop, regrip, then start again with the tip at the proper angle. Even then its nothing like writing with a pen or even the Targus stylus I have which has a half bubble tip. Its much more like your dragging it thru the motions rather than guiding it as with a pen. All in all, this isn't a terrible product but you have to understand that its not like other styluses and its not like a pen, at all. It is great as a 'poker' but not the best for notes/drawing in my opinion.

Although this is advertised for the iPhone, it works superlatively on the Droid and other Google OS phones.

I no longer use the pull out keyboard. It is so much more productive to use the stylus to move around and to enter text. The stylus is more precise than my finger tip, so typing is less frustrating with fewer incorrect keystrokes.

I have an iPhone 4. This stylus is thin & light. There is no difference between the silver & black aside from the color. The tips unscrew, but why? There are not any extra tips (?) they have to touch the screen at a precise angle to make solid contact. It's maybe DECENT at typing & terrible for everything else. The rubber tip is anything but tactile & will hardly slide at all. I feel like they only come in pairs so they could justify charging $20.00. Even the headphone jack mounting plug is flimsy. The ONLY thing functional or innovative about this product is the little screen cleaning pads that come with it. Don't buy this. I switched back to my other stylus & clipped a Jet Pen onto my backpack in case I wanted to experiment further & the stylus completely unscrewed from the cap just from the motion of a 5 min walk in & out of class. I wasn't disappointed to have lost such a useless thing except now I can't return them for a refund. This might be the only time that I have bothered to post a negative product review. These styli are cheaply made, under-developed & overpriced. But even if the price were lower it would be a waste of money because they're virtually useless (unless you need something to scratch your inner ear).

If you have an iPhone or iPad, I recommend the Elago Stylus Retractable (or a full length Elago stylus)

My husband just got this and we now both have stylus pens. I have long nails so it has been a drag using the touchscreen. This pen works great. I was slow at first, but now I am typing pretty fast with the pen.
