  • Infrared technology -- no need to buy any other accessories, works with the built-in Infrared port on your Palm PDA!
  • Compatible with the following Palm Handhelds -

  • Palm Zire Series Handhelds

Update/Caution: As of early October 2004, PalmOne has a "Universal Wireless Keyboard driver" update on their T3 web page. That is NOT the correct driver for this keyboard the driver for this keyboard is available from the Palm Accessories page for this keyboard and appears to have last been updated in 12/2003. I experienced system problems after installing that incorrect driver, so be sure you're getting the right one (the pictures show the UWKeyboard with a different key layout).

I've had one of these for a few days now, and it seems to work very nicely. The lack of dedicated number keys is indeed a minor annoyance as is the position of the lower hinge (at the spacebar) but everything else has worked quite well with my Tungsten T3.

There are several things to be aware of when you get one of these:

* The driver software in the package is almost certainly out of date, so you should download the newer version from the Palm website. Be sure you get the drivers for the correct keyboard since there are two different wireless ones.

* On a T3 you'll need to set landscape mode to left-handed orientation because of the position of the IR transmitter.

* While it seems tight, the IR wand is long enough to work with an extended T3 in landscape mode you'll have it at what seems an odd angle, but it works. If you use the flipover cover that comes with the T3, you'll need to have the T3 sitting a bit further out and further to the right (the base of the T3 won't be down in the holder area), but it still seems stable you don't have to remove the cover in order to use the keyboard.

* On-screen buttons that don't match the preprogrammed names reachable with the blue Fn key can be selected using Ctrl-Cmd-Letter where Letter is the first letter of the button (or any unique letter in its name).

* The default in the Keyboard driver is to only look for a keyboard signal for a short time after the Palm is powered on generally 10-30 seconds depending on how you set it. After that it will stop looking in order to save power. That means if you turn on your Palm and use it a bit before dropping it onto the keyboard then it probably won't still be looking. If it finds a keyboard, it'll stay on just fine. Most people can probably set this down to the lowest setting and never notice it.

* The up-arrow key is also the "?" key, so if you need to go up while selecting you have to use the blue Fn key (since Shift-Up will just get you a "?"). This'll be clearer when you look at the keyboard. Otherwise selecting text works as you'd expect (Ctrl-Shift-arrow to select words, etc.)

* There's a quick reference/help area in the Keyboard driver that you install on your Palm. It has some useful tips and is always with you (unlike the PDF manual).

* The keyboard does use power on the Palm since the IR port has to be on, so your battery life will be lower while you're using it lower still if you're using both the IR keyboard and a BlueTooth cellphone as a modem. It's still good for a day or two depending on how much you use it (and the shorter battery life is something T3 owners should already be aware of).

* The Tab key can be configured to either switch fields or insert a TAB character by default, with the other behavior available by using Fn-Tab.

UPDATE: After using it for a while, all of the above still stands but I have two additional notes:

* When the Palm is looking for a keyboard, it's looking for a keypress that's what sends a character and makes the Palm realize there's a keyboard present and just being in the keyboard cradle isn't enough. If you miss that window of time you can force it to look again by either powering off and back on or by switching to the Keyboard application and telling it to look again.

* I use a shopping list program and I've found that in some grocery stores the lighting used in refrigerated/frozen foods sections can make the Palm keyboard driver think that a keyboard is present and sending characters (frozen 'p's?). If you run into this, your best alternative is to cover the IR port with your finger.

The keyboard is a little thinner than my Stowaway keyboard, but bigger in the other two dimensions. Unlike the Stowaway's clever foldout design, this one just folds out in half. Pop the latch (which also serves to support the backrest for your Palm) and fold out the right half of the keyboard. In fact it looks remarkably similar to ThinkOutside's wireless keyboard.

You are greeted with a 3 row keyboard layout (with a split spacebar and other function buttons on a 4th row). A blue Fn key gives you access to the numbers and PDA related functions, while a green Fn key gives you access to symbols.

I like the wireless part. The keyboard's IR port swivels into position above my T3. No connector to snap on to, which is good. I've already worn out one button board on my Visor because of the constant snapping into and out of the keyboard.

I suspect anybody who touch types more than 20 wpm probably won't be too enamoured with this keyboard. The hinge just happens to sit where I normally rest my thumb to hit the space bar which keeps me from hitting the space bar properly. I have to hold my thumb in an awkward position to hit the space bar. Maybe I'll just have to train myself to put my thumb a little farther out to clear the hinge.

Having the numbers and symbols compressed into the top row of letters is also inconvenient if you're typing a lot of numbers mixed in with text. Really slows typing down having to reach for those extra modifier keys. It also means the right hand number keys are all in the wrong position (compare with a full-sized keyboard to see just how out of position they are). If you're just doing straight text, it much less of a problem.

Key spacing is all right, somewhat narrower than the original Stowaway keyboard design. 19mm vs 18mm may not sound like much, but it sure feels like a lot.

I think whoever came up with the 3 row keyboard design was never much of a touch typist who entered a lot of numbers. I suppose eventually I'll get used to it, but man, it sure makes typing slow.

This keyboard is one of the best designed pieces of hardware I've ever seen. You can see the attention they gave to details, from the lock that becomes the pda support, to the rubber strips that won't let the keyboard and the pda slip. You'll never write as fast as in your desktop, but It's a nice package for the portability you get.

If the hardware is great, I can't say the same about the keyboard driver. If you are writing in a language with a lot of accented letters (portuguese, french, spanish...) the software makes it almost useless for any serious writing. It's so clumsy that to put a simple tilde (~) in a letter you have to push 4 keys at the same time! Great to slow you to death and to give you some RSI. Why you can't just press the accent, and then the letter (as you do in all international keyboards) is beyond my understanding. You'll be able to use it just for some notetaking without accents.

I've bought the wireless version because I have a Clié palmtop. Palm licenses this keyboard from Thinkoutside, the makers of the Stowaway keybards, and their site says that the wireless model is compatible with almost all palm models. Since I plan to go back to a palm sometime soon, I've bought this for compatibility. After reading the README file, everything worked fine. Unfortunately the price for the infrared connection is a more intensive use of the pda battery.

I had successfully used a Palm Keyboard with the Palm 105. After purchasing the Tungsten E (which I love) two months ago, it was time for the keyboard. Prices have dropped considerably.

However, installation was fraught and I was ultimately forced to do a hard reset in order to complete the keyboard installation. Of course, I then had to reinstall any third party applications. The calculator managed to disappear en route too.

Design is a little clunky. The old keyboard opened with the touch of a button. One has to wrestle with latch on the new keyboard and ladies, you might break a few nails as you do so. The holder that is supposed to keep the handheld in place is all but useless. An upcoming flight will be an interesting test.

Notwithstanding these criticisms, I was very impressed by Palm's e-mail support which was active on Xmas Eve and during the day and am glad to have the keyboard working.

If you need the keyboard, you can't go wrong at this price.

Bought this last week. After loading the keyboard driver I was able to place my Palm T3 on the keyboard holder and begin typing.

I have used other keyboards for the Palm and by the time I got the PDA docked properly ont he connector I usually forgot what I was going to type...

This works exactly as designed. The only knock on it that I've read is that you must turn your T3 to left handed mode if you want to type in landscape format.

This is a very useful device.

Aficio Sp C320DN

Aficio Sp C320DN
  • Optimize color toner use with a new Economy Color Mode that applies less toner for draft prints and presentation color for final documents
  • Print high-quality presentations, proposals and other documents in brilliant color with resolutions up to 1,200 dpi
  • Produce full-color photos without connecting to a PC or installing software. Just plug an optional PictBridge-enabled digital still camera directly into the printer
  • Push productivity to a new level with a powerful 533 quick 26 pages-per-minute print speed-whether you presentation color or black-and-white
  • Handle large files without disrupting your workflow. The Ricoh Aficio SP C320DN offers expansive memory up to 768 MB

I replaced a defective HP printer for my home office business with this C320dn. Other than not being able to find toner for it locally, I have been very pleased. I use it for colored business documents as well as some photo printing on standard paper. The print quality and reliability of this printer are consistently good. I have probably run 15,000 pages of paper through it so far and there was only one ream of paper where I had feed problems. I would definitely purchase this product again, although next time I will most likely upgrade to a Ricoh machine that runs larger paper sizes.

Nice price. Love the idea of just buying a new printer instead of replacing toner all the time. Good thing about Ricoh machine, toner and drum all in one. A little slow to commands and printing, but overall a good printer.

Excellent printer. No complaints. It's easy to use and the toner cartridges last a long time (no more running to the store for ink at 8 pm for a school project like I would have to do with the ink jet printer).

Want Aficio Sp C320DN Discount?

I ordered this printer because my other color laser printer had broken. Of course, technology moves so swiftly that there were no spare parts or people willing to repair it. So I abandoned that printer which had become a large paperweight and went online researching printers.

This printer came with rave reviews and was reasonably priced for my small business needs. I am fairly technologically savvy. So, when I receive new hardware I never have problems setting it up. Further, I have Mac products which usually speak well with peripherals. that was not the case here. After three days of attempting various fixes suggested by the online guides, I was finally able to contact tech support. It was extremely frustrating as they told me without having purchased a service contract they could not talk to me--even to merely install the device! Rather than go through a litany of the miserably poor support they offer and the rudeness of their phone staff, suffice it to say I finally got to someone who was in fact helpful ...but it took three days! Ultimately, after I got it working, the print quality was marginal for color prints. So, it was determined that the product was defective. After my terrible experience with the support to their customers I did not choose to replace the defective product with another printer from Ricoh.

If you decide to purchase this, I hope you have better luck!

  • Product #: BELS17S08
  • Manufacturer: Built NY
  • Manufacturer Item #: BE-LS17-S08
  • UPC: 874634005577

Laptop sleeve was great for my 16.4 inch sony VAIO screen, it is a perfectly snug fit in the middle and leaves a little room on the zipper end if you want to put anything extra in there such as a scan disk or small cables for your camera etc. It is a little more yellowish and less pink than the picture shows but all in all pretty good. It fits in my large purse/side bag for class and meeting clients without letting my computer get all scratched up.

PDair V01 Black Leather Case for Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 / SGH-I717

PDair V01 Black Leather Case for Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 / SGH-I717Everything about this case is great with the exception of not having a cutout on the bottom to push phone up with finger when removing.

What happens is that the part of the phone that is exposed is where the volume buttons and on/off are. For me, every time I pull phone out (after it rings, and is active) it turns volume down, and if you do not pay attention, you will be getting silent calls.

The slightly annoying fix is to put your phone in the case upside down.

BTW, shipping was fast, but now there are many other cases that are at at fraction of the cost.

Great case! Style, functionality, all perfect. I use this case to go running with the note, and its like its not even there. It also looks great in pants that don't fit the massive Galaxy Note.

Ok, I have to admit, I was a little nervous about ordering this from China.

Let me put your concerns to rest.

Gotta tell ya, I love this case. It's is a quality product.

It shipped much faster than Amazon quoted me, very pleasantly surprised.

The soft leather feels great on the outside.

The inside has a harder textured plastic like feel to it.

The clip seems to be constructed well and works very nice on my belt.

It stays on when you take out or insert your phone, and pulls off nicely when you want the whole thing off your belt.

I've even bumped the bottom when sitting down and it stays securely on my belt.

It has a nice tight snug fit to hold the Galaxy Note.

I use a TPU case over the phone and the PDair case will expand enough to securely hold it and allow you to remove the phone without pulling the PDair off your belt, everything stays in place.

It has a stretchy material in between to allow for a little expansion.

If you feel this would suit your needs, I say go ahead and be confident with this purchase.

rooCASE Executive Portfolio (Magenta) Leather Case Cover with Landscape / Portrait View for Dell Str

rooCASE Executive Portfolio Leather Case Cover with Landscape / Portrait View for Dell Streak 7 Wi-Fi / 4G TabletThe leather of the case is nice but the problem lies with the thin vinyl type material that was used to trim the perimeter of the case. The material is so thin that it started to peel along the folds within two months of purchase with very light use (about 2 hours per week). I have had the case for more than 6 months now, and have used the case only slightly more frequently than my initial use, and the look of the case is ruined by the peeled vinyl and exposed foam. For this reason I can't recommend this case.

within 2 months the Velcro that holds the case over the device does not work at all.

the Velcro that holds that cover inside the main case is a different type and works fine, all other features of this are great, but unfortunately if you can't secure the device it's all for nothing.

I consider this a great item, but with a flaw so serious that it almost useless.

Awesome case bought for my daughter she loves it. She has had it for a couple months and had no complaints about it.

Want rooCASE Executive Portfolio (Magenta) Leather Case Cover with Landscape / Portrait View for Dell Str Discount?

This case is very good quality and very compact. I love the leather stitching and the fact that

it has an inner case for the actual tablet as well as a traveling case to put the tablet into.

The ONLY issue with this case that I can't seem to figure out is the stand. It comes with a

photo frame type stand to prop the tablet either landscape or portrait to have it stand alone,

BUT my prop stand seems to be either too short so it falls easily or it needs to be broken in.

That seems to be the only problem, otherwise it's a good case and prevents it from getting

scratched inside my purse/backpack.

TouchTec Gen IV 9mm Capacitive iPad Stylus and Ball Point Pen with Replacement Stylus Tip-Thick Twis

TouchTec Gen IV 9mm Capacitive iPad Stylus and Ball Point Pen with Replacement Stylus Tip-Thick Twist- BlackDon't get me wrong hereI still, to this dayuse the original TouchTec Pen. It's seen so much use at this point that it's literally falling apart. I guess taking all your senior-level computer engineering degree notes with *any* pen would have that effect though. Long story short, it was a dream in comparison to competitors, and it still is a trooper to this day.

Then I got this new version in the mail. I wept. This thing is hands down the best capacitive stylus I've used. No contest. Though the tip is certainly a little more "squishily" than the original, it has a total 100% detection rate on my iPad 1G (with screen protector). That means that even the lightest press registers, and I've really gotta be honestthat makes *all* the difference in the world. Using my note app of choice, Note Taker HD, my writing speed is nearly doubled, and I have to actually press 1/2 as hard as with v1 (which, mind you, was quite good to begin with).

As a side note tooI truly applaud these guys' customer service too. The folks I've spoken to are a wonderful lot that are seriously approachable. Frankly, it caught me off guard because of how rare it is to see any company that cares about their customers. I congratulate you guysyou really have a great product and superior experience for the customer.

I have the original touchtec pen, and have enjoyed it very much. It is silver, in the 7mm. For ladies with small hands, it would be just right. This time, I have the newly designed Touchtec II, in black, 9mm. It is a very attractive pen with a good weight, not too heavy, just right. Would look great in a shirt pocket, and ready to use on your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, or any of the other great tablets out there. Fingers are sometimes too large to select just the right options, and leave lots of fingerprints on your iPad. Not this stylus pen! And it is also a great ballpoint pen.

Ladies, if you want to carry it in your purse, it comes in a sturdy plastic case with a slot in which to secure the pen.

They thought of everything with this one. Buy it, you won't regret it!

Buy TouchTec Gen IV 9mm Capacitive iPad Stylus and Ball Point Pen with Replacement Stylus Tip-Thick Twis Now

I've tried AYL, TouchTec, BoxWave and Jot styluses.

I love the headphone lanyard and weight of the BoxWave, but it's 1" shorter than a normal pen and has no way to write on paper.

I liked the AYL for weight and length, but it was a rollerball pen and wet ink can get messy...I prefer a true ballpoint.

For length, weight, and a ballpoint tip, I opted for the TouchTec Thin Twist instead. The thick twist is the width of a standard pen, but I like the thin pens better.

Now if they add a headset lanyard connector somehow, this will become my New Holy Grail Stylus!

HTH,

G

After a lot of research and reviewing user comments I bought one of these. At first I was very happy. However after 3 weeks of heavy use the capacitive stylus stopped working it just wouldn't trigger the iPad (but my finger and other stylus worked fine). VERY disappointed. At least I could use it as a pen...but after 2 days of usage, the ink stopped flowing reliably. What a terrible quality stylus/pen. I sure wish I could get my money back. I gave it one star because there is no "0-star" rating.

Want TouchTec Gen IV 9mm Capacitive iPad Stylus and Ball Point Pen with Replacement Stylus Tip-Thick Twis Discount?

I have been searching for a usable stylus for over a year and have tried at least 7 different brands with no luck. The TouchTec is not only usable, it works incredibly well. And, as a bonus, the ink pen is a great pen on its own. So, save yourself the headache of ordering and trying other brands TouchTec is the way to go!

It was a little difficult to open my IPAQ but then was to easy to replace the old battery. The New Battery has been working fine, I would say, better than the one came with the PC Pocket when I bought it. Good Product.

  • Slim line portfolio design gives your tablet executive styling with little added bulk

I love this cover. It's adorable and functional. The best part is the strap which is easily used. The inside is a soft felt as well. The only cons would be the inability to charge the unit with the case closed and that sometimes it slips out of the tab which helps it sit upwards. This never happens when it's standing straight up like in the picture, only lied down, which is alright because it doesn't damage the tablet inside. I would definitely recommend it.

Hewlett Packard Jornada 728

Hewlett Packard Jornada 728

  • 6.5 in CSTN Touch screen, 640 x 240 x 65,536 colors on screen, 2D graphics acceleration
  • PC Card Type II, CompactFlash Type I, Smart Card reader slots
  • Integrated 56 Kbps modem/keyboard
  • What's in the box: Jornada 728, Stylus, AC adapter, Rechargeable lithium-ion battery, USB Docking cradle, Sync cable, User Manual

Purchased a Jornada 728 several weeks ago, this is my second PDA. I am very pleased with its quality and functionality. It does not replace a laptop but it is sure handy for checking mail, news, web sites, and does an amazing job with MP3 audio.

My system includes a 128 compact flash card (installs into the bottom of the 728) and a Socket low power 802.11b wireless network card which installs into the PC Card slot by using a PC Card/Compact Flash adapter .... The CF wireless network card will not work in the CF compartment on the bottom on the 728 because when inserted you cannot close the lid covering & securing the CF device. The CF compartment on the bottom will only accept CF devices the size of memory cards.

Even with the 802.11b card running I have yet to exhaust the battery. After 4 hours of computing it indicated ½ charge remaining. Overall I am very pleased with the unit. I mostly use the PDA pointer for navigating web sites, but when needed the key board works pretty good (takes a little practice getting used to but you do use both hands the same as a normal keyboard).

Instead of the Pocket PC 2002 operating system used by the newer 1/4 screen PDA's the 728 runs the Handheld PC 2000 Operating System (H/PC 2000). The H/PC operating system is not receiving the software support enjoyed by PPC 2002 devices. Consequently I had to purchase 3rd party MSN Messenger software ... and an NNTP news reader .... Also, there is no e-book reader available for it from Microsoft. The only other negative from my experience is it will not support streaming media from the Internet and no Real Audio player. I cannot listen to Internet Radio (not Windows Media or Real Audio). Lastly, I can't seem to get the VPN client to function correctly.

On the plus side, the 1/2 VGA screen is very usable and I have had great success using it to surf Internet and for web based mail (both Exchange and Groupwise). It also handles SSL. The 728's big plus is it usability, very usable screen and keyboard, and very portable (I do carry it often in my pocket). Battery life is excellent and the Terminal Services client works 100%. The audio quality with MP3 is VERY impressive (using headphones) and for what it lacked in shipped software, I was able to find 3 rd party (minus some way to steam medial). It also does a good job as a network client. I am able to connect to Windows 2000 servers and transfer files the same as from a desktop.

It does not have the functionality or software support of a laptop, but it is the next best thing!

This is a big unit by Palm type standards. It's a no-nonsense handhelp that uses H/PC 2000 which, in my opinion, needs to be updated. However, I use it primarily for business use, and for that this is perfect. I added a 128 mb Flash card and have plenty of room for everything I need. There is not a lot of software that you can get for this OS compared to Pocket PC 2002, but it does have a good assortment for the typical business user. I enjoy the screen size and keyboard. The 728 performs well in sunlight and in a dim room.

I bought the HP expandable case which is a very nice accesory that allows room to add business cards, notes, and a pen. The size in the case is about the size of a large woman's wallette and weighs over 1 pound. If you don't mind that, then this is the clam shell PC for you.

I bought this to replace my older Jornada 680e since it has a faster processor and an updated operating system (although it is almost a decade old). It does everything the older Jornada 680e does, and it can play MP3 music too. The sound is teeny and has too much treble. If I was going to use it to take notes only, I would give it a 5 star for the battery life and instant on operating system. But since I bought it to do other things besides taking notes, it does not do them too well. Remember that the keyboard is very small; so if you have big or fat fingers, you will not be able to touch type on this unit. But if you have small hands, you can type as fast as a full size keyboard, a big plus.

Very good product. Excellent transaction good price, quick delivery, all is well. Thank you!

Hewlett Packard gets closer and closer to the perfect clam-shell, handheld PDA. This sleek little number is certainly better than the competition, but it still lacks a key feature or two. I need to be honest and say that I don't own one, so the accuracy of my review is not complete. However if I am going to spend the money on a PDA, it better have everything I will need and desire. The two features that this PDA lacks are built-in Bluetooth, Wi-fi or Cellular components. Bluetooth is a technology that lets electronic devices such as PDAs, Cell phones and printers communicate with each other. With Bluetooth you could sync all or some of your phone numbers on your PDA with your Cellphone. You could wirelessly send a document to a printer. The applications are numerous and Bluetooth items are starting to come out now. Wi-fi is also a wireless technology, but is more geared to creating a network. Witb Wi-fi you could swap files between your PDA and your network, Send emails through your network server, and use your networks internet connection. You could do all of this with none of the, "which cable does this one use?", nightmare. For the asking price of $1K, I think HP could throw in a cellular card.

That being said, all the normal software looks like it works like a dream. Microsoft has finally come out with both a descent operating software and pocket version of Office. HP throws in a pocket version of Quicken. If you are tired of rage-invoking PDA styluses, try the keyboard on the 728. Only a little smaller than a traditional keyboard, and very good tactile response.

Boost Mobile WX415ABC Motorla Bali

Boost Mobile WX415ABC Motorla Bali
  • 1.3MP Camera with video
  • Wireless web email access to Gmail, MSN, Yahoo, & more
  • MP3 Music Player with external music keys (microSD rqd)
  • Stereo Bluetooth capable
  • Voicemail caller ID, Call Waiting, & Call Forwarding

My mother purchased this phone and I help her set it up. It is the slowest cell phone I've ever used in the last 6 years! It takes up to 5 seconds to respond when editing contacts or changing phone settings. The phone felt cheap, the buttons are made of cheap metal and it's hard to see/feel the outlines of the circle navigating button. This phone has Bluetooth capability but when trying to transfer over 60+ contacts from my mother's old Sanyo phone, this Motorola stopped accepting after every 15 contact sends...I had to manually add contacts in increments of 10-15 at a time. After about 2 months of use the phone couldn't hang up on calls anymore. It can still receive calls but you can't hang up or end the call. The screen resolution is also low compared to my mother's old phone or even my cheap "free" phones from Sprint. The only thing positive about this phone is that the numbers on the keys light up. If I could give it a zero I would.

I am a professional who recently purchased a Sanyo Juno phone to use as an extra special-purpose business phone. After using Boost cards to pay for the phone for two months I switched to the Auto Re-Boost Payment Service, wherein payments are automatically charged to my credit card each month. What a terrible mistake. Boost Mobile has been making monthly charges to my credit card at the same time that it has cut off my phone service, telling me that there is no money in my account. Of course, the latter cannot be true is the former is true. When I call Boost's service number to resolve the problem I learn that there are no human beings to speak to, only an automated list of options, none of which correspond to my problem. When I contact Boost via its online customer service (an e-mail option in which the customer is asked to describe his or her problem) I receive a phone call instructing me to call the service number, which, as I've just noted, provides no human operator and tells me that there is no money in my account. In other words, Boost Mobile tells me that to restore my service I must make another payment, even though that payment has already been made by their Auto Re-Boost plan. In effect, I must pay twice for each month of service and there is nothing I can do about it. Is this a company you would want to do business with? I deeply regret selecting to business with this company.

This phone is one of the best flip phones out now that more and more desent flip phones are hard to find. Its either basic or smart but the Motorla Bali has good features yet easy to use and not a smart phone, I was a little upset to find out that boost mobile does NOT support the navigation so if you are buying this phone for that dont cuz you can NOT use it. Over all I am happy with the phone and would suggest this phone to others.

i like that you can watch YOUTUBE and the phone looks so cute . and the front bottoms is touch too ,.

I use this adaptor to connect my UV-5R to my base station antenna as well as a yagi. The SWR did not change after the product was installed and everything appears to be working very well. The cable feels well made and is quite flexible.

The cable is a little light weight but it works fine. It is nice to be able to hook my radio up to my home made "J-pole" antenna!

Cyber Clean Cleaning Compound

Cyber Clean Cleaning CompoundIt's decent. The only problem is it doesn't get things that have fallen in the cracks of the keyboard, like crumbs. A power duster works a little better in that regards, but the nice thing about the cyber clean is that it actually picks up all of the dust. You have to wipe down your desk after using the power duster.

This is like lemon scented silly putty for grownups. It is ok at grabbing crumbs from between keyboards. It doesn't seem to do anything to get rid screen smudges, and sometimes little bits come off, so be careful by charging ports or USB ports. I like it more for getting rid of hard to get dirt in the car.

do not use with wet hands. You will not like the results. Also this needs to be a little warm. Hold in your hands for a bit. I have this works best for me. YMMV

Sliver Stylus Ballpoint Pen 2 Color lnk for iPad, All iPhone, 4S and All Capacitive Touch Screen Dev

Sliver Stylus Ballpoint Pen 2 Color lnk for iPad, All iPhone, 4S and All Capacitive Touch Screen Devices
  • Measuring 4.75 inches; Color: Silver
  • Left twist for black ink and right for red ink; Solid metal material; Soft rubber tip.
  • Compact and light weight design, easy to carry. Can be clipped in your pocket, book, diary, etc.
  • Compatible with Apple iPod, iPad, iPhone, iPhone 4S or any other capacitive touch screens.
  • Keep your screen free from scratching and fingerprint.

To begin, the quality of the stylus is great, its sturdy and the weight is perfect. I really cannot tell whether the material is steel or some type of alloy metal. The fact is the metal qualities allows your fingers to feel surprisingly good and the size is perfect to carry in your pocket. Now, the writing is smooth for the most part and you do have two inks to choose from. The only draw back I can tell of is the rubber tip use to write on electronic devices. It is not a match maker when it comes to screen protectors as the sensitivity level is low. Though if you don't use a screen protector than the stylus is perfect.

I was very pleased with the stylus ballpoint pen set. The stylus is easy to use with my iPad 4 even with a screen protector Spigen SGP The New iPad Screen Protector, Ultra Crystal SQ (SGP08853). The pen writes smoothly and I love that each pen contains two colors. The compact size makes it easy to stick in my purse or iPad case.

Update: 2/6/13

I have order two more sets! I gave my first set to my parents who found them very easy to use as they are new to iPads. When my husband tried one he declared it was much better than his current one, so I order a set for him to split with a friend. And I ordered another set for myself. At a local store, they want you to sign with your finger for your purchases on an iPod . Each time I've pulled out my stylus while the employee tells me that "it probably won't work". They were amazed when it did and asked where I had gotten my stylus. This product is a definite win!

A very nice looking silver stylus ballpoint pen !! It even has two colors of ink .

Twist the pen to the right, black ink,or twist to the pen to the left and red ink.

A very nice slim ballpoint stylus pen!!!

Lenovo N5902 Enhanced Multimedia Remote with Backlit Keyboard (57Y6678)

Lenovo N5902 Enhanced Multimedia Remote with Backlit Keyboard
  • Backlit keyboard
  • Optical Finger Navigation with scrollingslide bar
  • Up to 32ft of control via micro-size USB receiver using 2.40GHz technology
  • 2 AA Batteries Included

Not sure what happened to the product page, but this review is for the LENOVO N5902.

As you may know, the upgrades from the n5901 are as follows: Backlit keyboard, matte finish, scroll bar, and the trackball was replaced with an OFN (optical finger navigation). If you've ever used a blackberry then you know what the OFN is like. There is a bonus advantage with an ofn instead of trackball, and that is the ofn pad can be pressed to function just like the left click. So when you're navigating with the ofn, your thumb can just click to select, no need to double click with the left mouse button.

Well do I like it? Yes, very much. However, I do believe the folks at Lenovo tests these devices out on computer screens, and not real HDTV 50+ inch screens. If they did, they would know that it's a bit of work to move the pointer around on a 52 inch screen. I noticed that I was much smoother and precise moving the pointer around on my 15" notebook, but required a little more concentration and work with my living room 52" lcd. But I'm guessing it may be like this for these types of gadgets no matter what brand you choose to buy. You can go to your control panel under hardware and sounds and adjust your PC's mouse settings, the lenovo will respond to your pc's setting. I moved the cursor speed all the way to FAST and it helped a lot!

This is also very useful if you like using your notebook in bed in a lying down position. Sometimes you have to reposition yourself whenever you need to type something. With this remote, you don't have to move an inch. Laziness taken to whole new level. I like watching tv on my notebook in the dark while my wife is asleep, so the backlit helps the typing and I don't have to fidget around to type on the real keyboard. I recently bought the logitech m570 trackball to help stop the fidgeting in bed, but now with the ability to type also, I'll be using this lenovo in bed and use the Logitech trackball for when I have to do major typing.

One thing to note is that you're not really "typing" with the n5902, you're "texting" just like on a cellphone. Don't buy this if want to write essays, buy this because you have a HTPC or you like to plug your notebook to your bigscreen and need a remote.

Using the backlit took some time to get used to. There is a switch in the back to slide to either OFF, BACKLIT, or ON. Sliding it to backlit or on means the same thing. Except if you have it on backlit, whenever you type, the board lights up. This was a problem at first because in the dark, I'm punching random keys just to get the backlit to come on, then I had to delete whatever it was that I typed. Or if you don't do anything quick enough, the light turns off again. I guess this was to preserve battery. Well that's just me rushing into things. Because there is a backlit key on the keyboard to the left of the center space bar. All you have to do in the dark is feel for the center space bar and move your thumb to the left and punch the backlit key. It will still turn off quickly if you're not ready to type anything. But this is much better than punching random keys like the caps button, or having to delete spaces, or the random letter you punched.

PS3 fans should know that this thing is compatible. I plugged in the usb and was able to move around and send messages.

9/22/2011 UPDATE WITH USEFUL TIP!!

----------------------------------

I love this thing more every day. Here's a tip that will make you love this device even more! The most difficult thing for me to do with the N5902 is highlighting words to copy and drag and drop. This is easy with a regular mouse, but with the N5902, you have to bring two hands together, left thumb holding down the left click, and right thumb moving the OFN button to highlight or to drag and drop. Some of you may even have figured how to manipulate your fingers so you can do it one-handed, but still, it's cumbersome. So I've using keyboard shortcuts, but now I've found a better solution! I have never bothered to look at mouse settings in the notebook, like most people, I'm content with the default settings. Well I played around with the mouse settings and learned that there is this thing called "CLICKLOCK." If you enable it, then you can simply hold down the left click for a few seconds depending on your settings and it will lock into place. You no longer need to hold down the left click, you can then just move your mouse to highlight or to drag and drop. This isn't necessary nor do I even find it convenient with a normal mouse, we are trained and conditioned to hold down the left click and drag, it's quicker. But since the OFN touch pad on the N5902 can be pressed to function like a left click, this becomes the most convenient thing in the world!!! Your OFN can now be your one-stop shop to navigate as well as highlight, or drag and drop. So If you enable clicklock, you no longer need to use two hands to highlight to copy or to drag and drop. All you need to do is move your cursor to the start of where you want to highlight, then press and hold the ofn pad for about a second to lock it, now using the same ofn pad you move the cursor to highlight. You'll still need to right click to copy and paste, but hey, half the battle has been won. If you want to drag and drop, move your cursor over your desktop item, press it to lock it, then drag! N5902 owners, this will be one of the most useful tips you will ever find. Go try it out and thank me later! :)

Go to:

Control Panel, then to HARDWARE and SOUNDS, then go to MOUSE, then under BUTTONS settings, enable CLICKLOCK near the bottom, you can go adjust the clicklock setting too. You can adjust how short or long you must hold the click until it locks. I have my settings at about 1 second which is perfect because you don't want to have to wait too long.

ENJOY!!

Buy Lenovo N5902 Enhanced Multimedia Remote with Backlit Keyboard (57Y6678) Now

Granted, this model will cost you a fair bit more than many similar models on the market. But with that comes much sturdier quality and simply, easy to use design. Its not too flashy, doesn't have 180 buttons, etc. Its for the most part just a basic thumb sized keyboard with illuminated buttons. The illumination can even be turned on and off to save battery life in the day. The mouse has a small learning curve to it. If you've ever used a Blackberry in recent years, you'll be familiar with the small swipe pad that functions similar to a traditional trackball, but will less effort and less cleaning needed down the road. Its somewhat hard to miss the scroll pad on this, as its not so much a button as a friction-base area below the touchpad that allows you to scroll up and down on web pages, as well as accidentally raise and drop the volume of your videos if you're not careful. Overall, it was everything I'd hoped it'd be and just a little bit more. I've yet to have any reason to test the range beyond about 8 feet, but thus far its holding up very well.

Panasonic VIERA TC-P60ST30 60-Inch 1080p 600 Hz 3D Plasma HDTV

I had the task to find a SMALL handheld Wireless Keyboard with Mouse combo to be used for the internet apps, Pandora, Face Book, etc.

The Panasonic remote it came with was just too cumbersome to use.

The Lenovo N5902 Remote worked like a charm!

I bought it for home theather use 3 months ago. Thsi version has backlit and 2.4G wireless which means the remote signal is stronger than TV remote. I am pretty sure it dose reach 30 feet range. The optical finger navigation(mouse) with Slide Bar is great and easy to use. In the dark room, I can easily to switch my channel and easyily to adjust the volume with baclit. The battery system last a very long time. I think the only CON is if you need to type words a lot, then you need to find other product because the keyboad is very small. If you take it for home theather use, then I highly recommand you this prodcut!!!

My purpose, similar to other reviewers is for my HTPC. Overall, I have yet to find a good solution for a small, full-feature keyboard and mouse combo. I give three stars (same as I gave to Logitech DiNovo Mini) which means I will probably use it, but I'm actively looking for something to replace it.

Pros:

-Backlit keyboard! (thank you for listening to customers on the N5901)

-Small form factor, just about right to give the user the feel of an entertainment device rather than a PC (versus K400), but has some ergonomic issues (see balance below)

-Scrolling is awesome (way more pleasant than Logitech DiNovo Mini) a huge feature for an HTPC

-Separate buttons for left click and right click for assisted 2-hand operation

Cons:

-Mouse operation is smooth, but the mouse speed is terrible (like DiNovo Mini). Even at the fastest pointer speed (set via Windows Control Panel) it takes many strokes to cross the screen. This is my biggest complaint about the device. Convenient, efficient navigation is the primary necessity of a HTPC remote, and the N5902 comes up short here

-Difficult to type more than a few sentences at a time (an otherwise acceptable con, but I found it more difficult than the Logitech DiNovo Mini)

-Balance is a little off (when scrolling, which you do alot of on HTPC looking for things to play, it feels like it will fall out of your hand). I'd like more of the weight in the handle part (which would agree with the fact that it looks like where they want you to grip it.)

I will probably default back to my Logitech K400, a great dual function keyboard, and maintain the search for a mini-keyboard mouse.
