Buy Zoom 3035 PCI Express Data/Fax Modem - PCI Express - 1 x RJ-11 Phone Line - 56 Kbps Now
The modem works fine as a fax modem, but despite the verbiage in the user manual: "You must have Call Waiting/Caller ID(Type 2 Caller ID) service from your telephone company to use the modem's Call Waiting/Caller ID feature," be advised that per technical support, the modem does NOT support caller ID. They say "It has never had the capability to support caller ID."Ordered and installed this modem for a client who bought a new HP computer and still needs dialup internet. Easy install, it just flat worked I would buy again if I ever need a pci-e modem.
Want Zoom 3035 PCI Express Data/Fax Modem - PCI Express - 1 x RJ-11 Phone Line - 56 Kbps Discount?
Some people had trouble with drivers but mine installed under Win7 64-bit native drivers and seems to work just fine. This is an EXCELLENT modem!! FWIW, I contacted Zoom about including a half-height bracket, which they are looking into, since a lot of PC's today only take the half-height cards. Otherwise, you have to use it without the bracket.
