Please don't waste your money. I tried this item on Ipad1 and Ipad 2. Ipad said: "This device is not compatible with your Ipad". I'm very disappointed with this product. I'll buy only apple original products

iPad 2 does not recognize card reader. Followed instructions, made sure folder named "DCIM" had pictures on the SD card. Tried various combinations of replugging, turning off/on, and resetting iPad to no avail. iPad does not recognize it at all!
