Well the item works and it also works for dvd players that are not on it's list , so i say that's great ... The down-side is that it doesn't give the 8 hrs. that it states and doesn't hold the charge as long as it should , but it will give you about 6 of the 8 hrs. I am okay with that , so i feel it was a good buy for the price .
